The goal of this paper is to provide science, research, and clinical observations for patients and clinicians to make informed decisions when considering CIMDJ lesions, which are often referred to as jawbone cavitations. This 2023 paper was crafted in a joint effort that included clinicians, researchers and an eminent jawbone pathologist, Dr. Jerry Bouquot, following review of over 270 articles.
