Earlier this year, I was honored to be selected as one of ten US ambassadors for Swiss Dental Solutions (SDS), the ceramic implant that many of you have, are waiting to have, or are inquiring about. This experience has given me insight into a world where dentists are curious and wondering about what we do at clinics like Vios.

Teaching the principles and concepts of the Swiss way of ceramic implantology to dentists across the Midwest was rewarding, but what truly excited me was the growing interest in biological dentistry. Our practice has long been a pioneer in the region, and now I see tremendous potential for more biological dental practices to emerge.

Biological dentistry may not be a recognized specialty in dentistry, but it is special. It’s so special that it is often closely guarded by other biological and holistic dentists. This scarcity mindset is understandable, as people want to protect their niche and livelihood. However, my perspective at this stage in my career is different. I am much more interested in helping people reach optimal health, even if that means it’s not with me!

I am honored and excited to be part of your journey, but I am also proud to say that our referral network is slowly growing, allowing us to connect you with other skilled biological dentists.

Together, we have the power to challenge the status quo and advocate for the superior care that all patients deserve.

With that in mind, I have a request: Do you know anyone considering dental school, currently studying dentistry, recently graduated, or even practicing with an open mind?If so, would you be willing to share your experience with biological dentistry with them?
